*Sun Valley*

for President's Day weekend Nathan, me, Katie, and Carson went to the wonderful small town of Ketchum, Idaho!  I've been to Sun Valley once a looooong time ago.  Sun Valley is super small but so pretty! there isn't a whole lot to do besides ski, snowboard, and snowshoe and since we had good intentions but didn't actually do any of these activities we did a lot of movie watching, relaxing, and eating! which was perfectly fine by me.

Katie and I got our Valentine's Day massages that were wonderfulllll. seriously I was pampered the whole weekend.  Thank you a million times over nay! We went and saw two movies; Endless Love and The Monuments Men. I really liked Endless Love, it was a cheesy predictable chick flick which is probably exactly why i loved it.  I really wanted to like The Monuments Men but found it slightly boring.. :/ I had so much fun and we tried so many different things, like a chia drink, and yummy different chocolate, I also had a weird obsession with anything black cherry flavored.

my favorite night was when we went out to eat at the Pioneer Saloon which was super yummy, we then got the most delicious ice cream, took it back to the condo and after Nathan and I played Mexican Train all night. I love that we both love games and I love just hanging out with him with nowhere to be and nothing to do. I'm so grateful for him and for my wonderful life. It was seriously the best weekend ever.

Until the next vacaaaaay!

The day of love

I love love! Valentine's Day is definitely one of my favorite holidays!  This Valentine's Day was the best one I've ever had, last years was pretty dang good but for some reason this one was better.. AND I worked all day.  thank goodness I work with Nathan!  Nathan and I started the day off right by going to breakfast at Sandy's.  When we got to our table there were balloons with a dozen roses on the table!  Nathan's sister works there so he had some connections. ;)  It was so sweet and thoughtful!  We talked and ate for awhile and it was perfect.  and of course the beignet's we ordered made the day that much better!

Then I headed off to work.. basically my day consisted of frosting cookies alllll day!  and occasionally waiting on a few love birds. *Hug-Hes Plug* we have the best sugar cookies!!!  They are possibly my allll time favorite cookie AND dessert and that's not a lie. so you should check them out. link in profile ;)

I had a hour break so I planned to decorate Nathan's room with lots of hearts on the wall and a basket full of treats with a HUGE card that used the treats for my love note. example: you are the LIGHT of my life and I gave him crystal light packets. so I get in my car to drive to his house when I see this beautiful huge basket full of all my favorite things!!! board games, lemonade, peanut m&m's, gushers, recess, sourpatch watermelon, twix, kit kats, action movies (fast and furious 6) and superhero movies (superman) and popcorn!  he is the bessssssst. but wait! we went to Sun Valley that night for presidents day weekend and in my basket is a Sun Valley Resort envelope that says I have a 1 hour massage scheduled for the weekend! could he be any more perfect?? NO! I was so excited to take all these goodies on our road trip and spend the weekend eating good food and being with better company. ;)

I decorated his room which he later found and loved! Then went back to work.  Work was good and it went by pretty quick!  but I was so happy when we were on our way to Sun Valley!  We started off the drive and ended the night right with some McDonald's! #ilovemcflurrys!! it was such a Valentine's Day! I cant wait to marry Nathan!!!

I hope you all had a wonderful day of love! xoxo

My Girlssssss

Now that it's official!!!

The wedding planning can begin! All my friends told me that the hardest part of planning their weddings were finding the bridesmaid outfits... so I started early! I looked and looked online.  Nothing seemed to fit my idea and if it did there was only one dress left.. so a few weeks ago, my mom and I went shopping for them.  The first store we went to was Downeast in Layton. And guess what!! We found the perfect bridesmaid dresses! Am I lucky or what?! I decided I want the sisters in dark gray and the friends in cream.  I got them all matching belts from Forever 21 and made them each an individual necklace that had a word inside the pendent that represented them.
Pick a word in the dictionary describing each bridesmaid..

I think they turned out really cute and cant wait to have these girls by my side! I love you all!
